Australia has pledged 13 million dollars to assist Pacific nations in phasing out fossil fuel imports and transitioning to renewable energy, RenewEconomy reported. Australian Federal Energy Minister Chris Bowen announced the funding on Monday at pre-COP climate talks held in Fiji.
