Ad-hoc-news.de reported, citing LatinFinance, that the potential financing is linked to the planned expansion of the company in the shale oil region. Chief executive commentary cited by LatinFinance confirmed the link between the potential bond issue and the expansion plans. [1]

The new bond would provide Capex with an additional financing route to support its drilling and production growth. The eventual size, timing, maturity, and coupon rate of the bond issue have not yet been determined. [1]
