Yinson Production has closed a 1.458 billion dollar senior secured notes offering through Yinson Azalea Production, Offshore Energy reported. The transaction represents the largest floating production, storage, and offloading project bond to date. [1]

Offshore Energy reported that the 144A/RegS offering is the first FPSO project bond issued outside of Brazil. The transaction broadens the institutional investor base for the floating production asset class and sets a new industry benchmark. [1]

Yinson Production operates out of Singapore as a subsidiary of Yinson, an energy infrastructure and technology company based in Kuala Lumpur. Yinson Holdings Berhad began as a logistics firm in Johor Bahru in 1984 before expanding into energy solutions. [1][2]

The successful pricing of the notes establishes a financial precedent for offshore oil and gas production units operating outside South American markets. The capital raised secures senior debt funding for Yinson's floating production infrastructure assets. [1]
