The electricity will be generated from interstate transmission system connected projects using a firm and dispatchable renewable energy system, PV Magazine reported. PV Magazine, SolarQuarter, and Trade Brains all noted that the capacity was secured at a tariff of six Indian rupees per kilowatt hour, which PV Magazine converted to 0.063 United States dollars per kilowatt hour. [1][5][6]

The capacity was awarded under the ninth tranche of the firm and dispatchable renewable energy auction run by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited, PV Magazine reported.
